ELKHORN VALLEY MUSIC DEPARTMENT PERFORMS IN DODGE

The Elkhorn Valley Public School Jazz Band and Show Choir under the direction of Brenda Gale entertained the K-12 students at Dodge Public Schools on Wednesday April 30^th.   This was the last stop in their annual concert tour.  The students performed earlier in the day in Clarkson and in Howells.   The jazz band opened the afternoon performance with three pieces featuring soloists and a variety of jazz styles.  Vocal soloists performed pop pieces for our enjoyment before the 15-minute show choir performance concluded the concert.   These students gave an exceptional performance with wonderful singing and intricate dance moves to their selections of old rock and roll classics.   The concert was well received by the Dodge students and faculty.
