2011-12 CORNHUSKER CONFERENCE HONOR BAND IS CHOSEN

The Cornhusker Conference Band Clinic will be held on Monday February 6th at Central Community College in Columbus.   The day begins with rehearsals for the students selected into the Cornhusker Conference Band and ends with a 7:00 concert featuring the 70 member honor band and each individual conference band.   Mr. Bryan Johnson will be this year’s clinician.  He is now retire after thirty-one years as band director at Oakland-Craig Public Schools.  Honor Band students selected from Dodge are:
Flute: Madison Novicki  and Paige Recker.  Clarinet: Amanda Vodvarka, Jessica Shonka and Emily Kampschnieder.   Bass Clarinet: Lindsey Wisnieski.  Alto Saxophones: Kim Ruskamp and Ashley Faltin.
Tenor Saxophone :Brian Vodvarka.  Trumpet: Garrett Sellhorst. Percussion: Trevor Lamberty and Leah Grovijohn.   The Dodge-Howells unifed band will perform Future Force for the evening program under the direction of Cindy Sellhorst.
